Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in schools
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and diagnostic assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, targeting articulation, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Deliver therapy sessions, both individual and small group, in accordance with student needs and IEP requirements
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy, and student progress
- Provide guidance and education to teachers and families, supporting students communication at school and home
