Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Dakota
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFY applicants considered
  • Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings highly desired
  • Skilled in developing IEPs, conducting comprehensive speech/language assessments, and delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of speech and language disorders
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to ensure IEP goals are met
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers for incorporating speech-language strategies into the curriculum
