This in-person opportunity near Birmingham, MI, runs through the remainder of the school year and offers flexibility for both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time schedules.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in school settings, specifically with elementary-aged children
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff for student success
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for helping young learners achieve communication milestones
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reassessments for K5 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Consult with teachers and families to support strategies in the classroom and at home
- Monitor progress and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multi-disciplinary teams, and professional development opportunities
