Job Description

This in-person opportunity near Birmingham, MI, runs through the remainder of the school year and offers flexibility for both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time schedules.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience working in school settings, specifically with elementary-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff for student success
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Passion for helping young learners achieve communication milestones

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reassessments for K5 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Consult with teachers and families to support strategies in the classroom and at home
  • Monitor progress and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multi-disciplinary teams, and professional development opportunities
