A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Birmingham, AL. This role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to help students achieve their academic and social potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Document and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans
