Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to tailor therapy approaches to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments and interpret evaluation results
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each students academic success
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress reports, and data required by school guidelines
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities as needed
- Support students with varying needs, from mild to complex communication challenges
