Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license for the state of Alabama
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also welcome
• Previous experience in school settings highly valued
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for helping children overcome speech, language, and communication challenges

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and deliver engaging, individualized therapy plans for students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student plans
• Support students across a variety of grade levels, tailoring interventions as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all learners
