Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Alabama
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also welcome
- Previous experience in school settings highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping children overcome speech, language, and communication challenges
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and deliver engaging, individualized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student plans
- Support students across a variety of grade levels, tailoring interventions as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all learners
