Job Description

This full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year seeks passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver impactful services either onsite or potentially virtually as the assignment approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state of New York
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt services to meet diverse student needs and IEP requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to a varied student caseload, targeting speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning objectives
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Offer expert input in meetings and contribute to development of instructional strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student outcomes in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
