Qualifications
- Masters degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Thorough understanding of IEP processes, speech/language evaluations, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Licensed or eligible for NY state SLP licensure
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for diverse student populations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each clients needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and student progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and families to support academic and social growth
- Adapt to in-person or digital therapy delivery as necessary
