Qualifications

  • Masters degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Current active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Thorough understanding of IEP processes, speech/language evaluations, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Licensed or eligible for NY state SLP licensure
  • Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for diverse student populations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each clients needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and student progress
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
