A highly rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support an Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 20th through August 13th, 2026. This short-term contract position runs Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, totaling 14 hours per week, offering a great work-life balance for professionals seeking a meaningful, focused assignment.

Ideal candidates are committed to empowering students and fostering communication growth. Youll be working alongside other dedicated staff, playing a key role in students summer learning and development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active SLP license (CCC certification required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with ESY or elementary/secondary students
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs), speech and language assessments, and IEP documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for ESY students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure carryover of skills
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates for IEP meetings
  • Create an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth
