Job Description

As a speech-language pathologist, you will be placed at locations based on operational needsnever virtually, always on-sitesupporting pediatric and adolescent learners.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator Certification
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
  • Strong foundation in the laws, rules, and regulations related to educational services for children with disabilities
  • Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent cognitive and physical development, as well as relevant diagnostic instruments
  • Solid understanding of terminology surrounding physical and learning disabilities
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data, as well as relevant policies and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred: ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy and intervention plans
  • Work collaboratively with IEP teams and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate data and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide consultative support and education to teachers and families
  • Adapt and tailor services to accommodate a diverse caseload
