Empower K-12 students to find their voices and reach their full potential in a dynamic school-based setting located near South Holland, IL. In this onsite contract position, youll collaborate with passionate educators while providing vital speech-language services across a diverse K-12 caseload for the 2026/2027 school year.
Your expertise will help empower children at all levels of communication needs. Youll be able to see tangible progress in your students as you implement engaging therapy sessions and individualized treatment plans, all within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement
- Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience successfully serving pediatric and/or school-based populations
- Ability to effectively deliver services onsite
- Strong skills in evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Commitment to supporting student growth in K-12 settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy for K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs aligned with each students goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and services delivered
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to an inclusive, supportive community
