Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Virginia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Prior experience delivering SLP services in schools is highly valued
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions to students aged PreK-12
• Develop and update IEPs, tracking and reporting progress towards goals
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school standards and regulations

This contract position runs from July 27th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week based in the Winchester, VA area.
