Step into a meaningful contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a school setting for the upcoming academic year. This role centers on supporting students' communication abilities through individualized assessment, therapy, and collaboration with school staff. Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Prior experience delivering SLP services in schools is highly valued
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions to students aged PreK-12
- Develop and update IEPs, tracking and reporting progress towards goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school standards and regulations
This contract position runs from July 27th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week based in the Winchester, VA area.
