Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and secondary students with communication needs in a vibrant New Mexico school setting. Skilled Speech Language Pathologists who hold or are eligible for SLP licensure in New Mexico are needed, whether at the Clinical Fellowship Year or Certificate of Clinical Competence level.
You will work 37.5 hours weekly across five days, engaging with a diverse student population to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment strategies. Your expertise will empower students to reach their fullest communication potential and positively impact the school community.
Qualifications:
- Active or eligible SLP license in New Mexico
- CCC or CFY candidates considered
- Experience with school-age children preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for elementary and secondary students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for educational strategies
