Key Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification, or eligibility to obtain
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- School-based experience is a plus, but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Design and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy, both individually and in groups, focused on student-specific goals
- Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support student progress
- Engage in literacy and curriculum planning to enhance student learning
- Identify at-risk students and offer early intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with applicable guidelines
- Supervise and provide mentorship to student clinicians, clinical fellows, and SLPAs
