Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, serving K-12 students in an educational environment. With a manageable weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, youll deliver specialized support to a diverse caseload and work collaboratively with a dedicated staff.
What Youll Need:
- Valid ISBE PEL with Speech-Language endorsement
- Current Illinois State License (IDFPR)
- SLP-CCC preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP) are welcome to apply
- Experience with school-aged populations (K-12) highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
What Youll Do:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement therapy sessions for students with speech-language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain compliance with state and district documentation standards
- Offer guidance and resources to educators and families to support student progress
- Engage fully in school teams and participate in meetings as required
