Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings strongly preferred
- Proficient in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans for secondary students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to adhering to ethical standards and state guidelines in speech-language services
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to secondary students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches based on data and outcomes
- Stay current with best practices for pediatric and adolescent speech-language pathology
