We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for an onsite contract role at an elementary school in the Bellwood, IL area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a manageable caseload and contribute to a supportive educational community.
Key Qualifications:
- Active IL Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to manage and support a variety of student needs (expressive/receptive/pragmatic language, articulation/phonology, fluency)
Role Highlights:
- Contract position for the full 2026-2027 academic year
- 35 hours per week onsite (8:00 am 3:30 pm, includes a 30-minute duty-free lunch)
- Responsible for approximately 35 students, plus RTI/MTSS support as needed
- Serve a small 3rd grade cross-categorical instructional classroom
- Case management for 5-10 speech/language-only students
- Collaborative work with teachers and other support staff
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
