Required Skills & Experience:
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Washington State
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students from Pre-K through high school
- Familiarity with early childhood, elementary, middle, and secondary education settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for teaming with teachers, staff, and families
- Adaptability and creativity in delivering both direct and consultative speech-language services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech-language support
- Develop, update, and monitor IEPs and therapy goals in coordination with educational teams
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success across academic and social contexts
- Document progress through regular reports, maintaining compliance with all documentation standards
- Act as a resource for families and educators regarding communication development and strategies
