Job Description

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Washington State
  • Proven experience working with pediatric populations
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students from Pre-K through high school
  • Familiarity with early childhood, elementary, middle, and secondary education settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for teaming with teachers, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and creativity in delivering both direct and consultative speech-language services

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech-language support
  • Develop, update, and monitor IEPs and therapy goals in coordination with educational teams
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success across academic and social contexts
  • Document progress through regular reports, maintaining compliance with all documentation standards
  • Act as a resource for families and educators regarding communication development and strategies
