Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support to students with developmental disabilities in a school setting located in Bellevue, WA. This role involves working directly with students to enhance communication skills, collaborating closely with the IEP team to develop and support individualized goals, and conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The position is onsite, offering the opportunity to engage directly with the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language interventions to facilitate student participation in the classroom.
- Collaborate with IEP teams to design, implement, and monitor individualized goals for students.
- Complete thorough evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and progress.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to educators and staff regarding communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Washington.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate status.
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification is required.
- Experience working with students with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families.
Location and Hours:
- Bellevue, Washington.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Onsite position within the school environment.
