Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based Opportunity
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced clinicians as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY-SLPs) looking to begin their careers in a supportive educational environment.
Position Details
Schedule: 7.75-hour workday
Lunch: 30-minute duty-free lunch
Student Population: Primarily Pre-K through 5th Grade
Maximum Caseload: 55 students
Setting: School-Based
Qualifications
We welcome candidates with the following backgrounds:
SLP School-Based Experience
CFY-SLP (Clinical Fellowship Year)
SLP Pediatrics
SLP Healthcare
SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Ideal Candidate
Holds or is eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Passionate about helping students achieve communication success.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred but not required.
