Make a meaningful impact in student development by supporting early learners as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to an elementary school caseload of 3-5 year old students, including those in developmental preschool. Youll engage in a variety of roles that foster growth among young children, ensuring every student receives the attention and intervention they need to succeed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Washington Speech Language Pathologist license
- Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school settings, especially with pediatric or early childhood populations, is highly valued
- Familiarity with teletherapy and healthcare-related SLP practices considered a plus
- New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to children ages 3-5, including those in developmental preschools
- Complete Child Find evaluations, collaborate in evaluation results meetings, and participate in IEP development and transition planning as needed
- Deliver itinerant services and potentially support Kindergarten transition students, depending on caseload needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to create effective, individualized interventions
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all compliance guidelines
