Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech Language Pathologist serving a vibrant K12 school community near Belchertown, MA. Required Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license or certification in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads, preferably within K12 settings
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and other specialists
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students across K12 grade levels
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Engage in parent/guardian meetings and support educational staff with strategies for language development
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet varied learning styles and cultural backgrounds
