Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or a strong clinical fellowship candidate
  • School-based SLP experience highly preferred
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing therapy
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach when working with students of diverse backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
  • Design and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with all regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students needs
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports
  • Provide direct and consultative services across various educational settings
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student
