Job Description
This contract position is ideal for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) licensed in California who have experience working within school settings. The role supports a caseload of approximately 55 students ranging from PreK through 5th grade, requiring onsite presence for about 37.5 hours per week from ASAP until the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech therapy services to students in grades PreK-5.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with district policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs.
- Support communication skills development to enhance academic and social success.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Experience with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of best practices in school-based speech therapy.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while providing high-quality care.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
