Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP-CCC certification
- Eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds also welcome
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create and maintain effective educational plans
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of progress and services delivered
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide expertise and recommendations for student services
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment to help students excel academically and socially
