A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Baytown, TX, serving elementary students from Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This contract position offers a chance to provide essential speech therapy services within an elementary school setting, focusing on pediatric care and teletherapy when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLP CCC license is required
- Experience with school-based speech-language pathology services
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is an advantage
- Ability to work with young children (K-2nd grade), supporting speech and language development
Job Details:
- Full-time hours with a guaranteed 35-40 hours per week
- Work schedule includes 5 days per week
- Contract duration: current school year (CSY)
- Position located in Baytown, TX, within an elementary school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance the accessibility of services
- Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment
