Job Description
This position is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide onsite support in an elementary school setting, serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade. The role involves working a minimum of 22 hours per week, delivering specialized speech therapy services to help young learners enhance their communication skills. This contract opportunity is based in Battle Creek, MI, and offers a supportive environment to make a meaningful impact on student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for K-5 students
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on student progress regularly
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Proven experience working with elementary-age children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
