Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-5th grade students as an onsite Speech Language Pathologist. This role places you within a dynamic and supportive educational environment, enabling you to make meaningful contributions to students language and communication development. With a manageable caseload and flexible hours totaling 22+ per week, youll build relationships and deliver targeted interventions that foster growth and confidence in young learners.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid MI Speech Language Pathologist License
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practice
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual and group needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in K-5
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Develop targeted therapy goals in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain clear, timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Engage students with creative, evidence-based activities that encourage participation
