Youll work with middle and high school students, handling a caseload of approximately 30, with a mix thats more in-direct than direct, giving you the chance to hone consultation, collaboration, and intervention planning skills. Required Skills & Experience:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • Valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility) for Kansas
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
  • Comfortable delivering services in-person or via teletherapy
  • Familiarity with IEP development and indirect service models

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and supporting middle and high school students with communication needs
  • Providing more in-direct than direct services, collaborating closely with faculty and families
  • Managing a caseload of around 30 students
  • Participating in IEP meetings and documentation
  • Consulting with educational teams and offering targeted interventions
