Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP licensure or eligibility
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Ability to create and implement IEPs tailored to each students needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students for speech, language, and communication disorders through standardized and informal testing
  • Develop individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP objectives
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services within the school environment
  • Document assessments, interventions, progress, and collaborate in IEP meetings
  • Engage with parents and teachers, offering strategies and resources to enhance student progress
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services
