Make a meaningful impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic and encouraging school environment. Work with learners from kindergarten through 12th grade, addressing a range of communication needs while collaborating with an energetic and passionate team. This contract role offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in SLP practices, including teletherapy, pediatrics, and early career (CFY) skill sets, all within a well-resourced educational setting.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working in a school is preferred, but not requiredenthusiastic clinicians eager to work in a school-based environment are encouraged to apply
- Clinical Fellows with a strong service orientation are welcomed
- Genuine dedication to helping K-12 students thrive and grow
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language servicesincluding assessment, intervention, and consultationfor students across K12 grades
- Tailor therapy plans to meet individual student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed and maintain thorough documentation
