Step into a rewarding school-based role as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students near Baltimore, MD! This contract opportunity offers both full-time and part-time schedules, serving preschool, elementary, and secondary students within community and school-based settings. Youll be part of a dynamic team providing high-impact speech and language services, with the chance to extend into ESY programs during July 2026 if interested.
Your expertise will be valued as you deliver assessment and direct therapy, collaborate with educators, and supervise SLPA support for middle school caseloads. This is an on-site position, ensuring meaningful engagement with students and colleagues.
What you'll need to bring:
- Active MD Professional Licensure (licensure documentation required for onboarding)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- School or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Previous supervision experience (for secondary caseloads with SLPA support)
- Ability to satisfy House Bill 486: background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
- Flexibility to work in itinerant or multi-site settings
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Providing direct speech/language therapy to preschoolers, elementary (PreK-5), or middle school students (6-8)
- Conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Collaborating with school staff and families to foster student success
- Supervising SLPA in service delivery (as assigned)
- Managing caseloads across designated school sites
This assignment offers the flexibility to select a full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time (30 hours/week) schedule, with locations including community preschools, Magnolia and Prospect Mill Elementary Schools, and Aberdeen Middle School.
