Job Description

Make a significant difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting multiple elementary school locations in the greater St. Louis area. This contract opportunity offers immediate placement and the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational teams focused on student growth and achievement. As part of this dynamic setting, youll play a key role in identifying and addressing speech and language needs for young learners.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Missouri state licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Monolingual (English) proficiency
  • Experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility to adapt across multiple school sites
  • Capable of rapid credentialing, including fingerprinting, to facilitate a timely start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and document students' speech-language abilities
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with educational and ethical standards
  • Deliver therapy services on-site (not a virtual/remote position) across assigned schools, with part-time hours totaling 22.5 hours per week over three days
