Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Hold an active New Mexico SLP license (required)
• Previous work in a school-based setting is preferred
• Comfortable working with elementary, middle, and high school students
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess, develop, and carry out individualized treatment plans

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across multiple grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with teachers and parents
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress reports, and compliance paperwork
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school events
• Mentor and support educational staff on best practices for supporting students with communication needs
