Key Qualifications:

  • Active state-issued Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required)
  • SLP Educator Certificate (required)
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, current and valid (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous school-based SLP experience, especially with early intervention or preschool populations, highly valued
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage varying caseloads and adapt to shifting priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication evaluations for assigned students
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to a dynamic caseload (sizes and focus may vary depending on evaluation and service needs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide parent, caregiver, and teacher support and training to maximize student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists for best student outcomes
