A supportive elementary school district in the Chicago, IL area is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a current full-time opening. Candidates with previous pediatric or school-based experience are encouraged to apply, though experience working with children is not required. Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses related to speech, language, voice, and hearing disorders
- Develop and provide individualized therapy services based on student needs
- Support students in areas including communication, articulation, language development, and social communication
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to help implement student goals and interventions
- Work with elementary-aged students in a K-5 school setting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
Position Details:
- Full-time contract position
- 37 hours per week
- Schedule: 8:00 AM 3:30 PM
