Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
- Current state licensure in Illinois as an SLP.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
- Excellent organizational abilities and commitment to documentation and compliance.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language needs for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate regularly with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required.
- Offer consultation and support for teachers to integrate communication strategies in the classroom.
