Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license with appropriate state endorsement (PEL with SLP Endorsement)
- Experience or strong clinical foundation in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Ability to adapt strategies for a variety of ages and needs, including elementary students
- Familiarity with educational settingselementary, middle, or high school experience is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, supporting their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention programs for a diverse K-5 caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student engagement and progress
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and therapy reports in compliance with legal and school requirements
- Participate in meetings, contribute to IEP development, and maintain accurate records
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that supports each childs ability to thrive
