Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple communities as a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. With a recent opening due to a late resignation, your expertise will have an immediate impact providing evaluations, therapy, and support services at various school sites. The role involves travel between Morris, Gardner, and South Wilmington, IL, serving diverse student populations and collaborating with dedicated faculty and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Illinois SLP license and appropriate school certification
  • Previous experience supporting school-aged children is highly valued
  • Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively travel between multiple school locations as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs for K-12 students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapeutic intervention in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with general educators, special education staff, and families to support each students progress
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation of student progress and services
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team collaborations, and student support initiatives
  • Adapt strategies to serve a diverse caseload and multiple school communities
