Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide dedicated support within a dynamic school environment near Aurora, CO. This contract opportunity runs through the end of the school year, offering the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours based on your preferences. Youll play a vital role in fostering student communication skills while working onsite, directly with K-12 populations.
Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting students across multiple school sites as part of an itinerant model. Your expertise will help ensure that each student receives the guidance needed for academic and personal success.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP license, or the ability to obtain before starting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by ASHA
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Ability and willingness to travel between various school locations
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to onsite, in-person services (remote assignments not available)
Primary Duties:
- Conduct assessments and provide speech-language therapy for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Support the diverse linguistic and cultural needs of students
