Embark on an enriching opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students at a nearby school in the Aurora, CO area. This part-time contract position allows you to apply your expertise in a professional, collaborative educational environment while making a lasting difference for children and adolescents.
Utilize your SLP skills with a diverse caseload and contribute directly to student development. This onsite role offers you the chance to develop professionally, interact with a dedicated school staff, and help students achieve their communication goals across a variety of clinical needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado SLP license required
- Certification in Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience a plus
- Strong evaluation, therapy, and documentation skills
- Collaborative, organized, and effective communicator
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, write reports, develop therapy goals, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain clear documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school community
