Job Description

A mid-length contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric services, located onsite in Aurora, CO. This position supports a K-8 caseload within a school setting and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, offering 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Special Education Teachers to develop daily schedules and coordinate student testing.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating annual IEP meetings ensuring comprehensive communication.
  • Maintain and provide updated speech and language caseload lists to support accurate special education records.
  • Deliver individualized, specially designed instruction via resource room, inclusion, or pullout sessions tailored to each students speech and language needs.
  • Partner with staff and families to monitor student progress and support the achievement of IEP goals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred experience working with at-risk or special education student populations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
