As an on-site Speech Language Pathologist, you'll play an integral role in a supportive educational environment, utilizing your clinical expertise to make a genuine difference in young lives. This position offers a 32-hour workweek and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong background in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings, including SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, and experience with pediatric caseloads
- Experience supporting at-risk or special education students is preferred
- Highly organized, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate regularly with Special Education Teachers to coordinate daily schedules, testing, and annual IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate speech and language caseload lists and update the master Special Education roster as needed
- Deliver specially designed instruction through a variety of service formats (resource room, inclusion, or pullout) to meet each students individual needs
- Partner with staff and families to ensure progress toward IEP goals and promote optimal learning outcomes for every student
