A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in a school setting located in Augusta, GA. This role involves working with students who require speech and language support to enhance their communication skills and academic performance.
Responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy to students, and collaborating with educators and parents to support student progress. The SLP will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children in a school environment
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and designing evidence-based intervention plans
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads and maintain detailed records
- Knowledge of federal and state guidelines related to special education and speech/language services
