A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Augusta, GA, supporting students from elementary through high school in a school district setting. This full-time contract position runs immediately through May 29, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
The role involves providing direct speech therapy services, conducting evaluations, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collecting data to monitor student progress. The caseload includes a diverse group of students across multiple school sites, requiring flexibility and strong organizational skills.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid Georgia state license for Speech Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings with students of varying ages and needs
- Ability to manage caseloads independently while collaborating with educators and families
This contract position offers a preference for onsite work at school facilities, with flexibility to accommodate a hybrid schedule (three days onsite and two days virtual) if needed. Candidates must be prepared to travel between multiple school locations within the district during the workweek.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy tailored to individual student goals
- Conducting formal and informal evaluations
- Writing comprehensive IEPs that meet state and federal guidelines
