Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid WA SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • WA Teaching Certificate, or the ability to obtain one if required
  • Experience in a school setting serving high school-aged students is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat high school students with various speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Develop and deliver engaging therapy sessions that support students academic success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Provide consultative support to school staff and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
