Job Description

A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to work onsite for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role runs from September 1, 2026, through June 23, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, involving services to a diverse K-12 student population within a school setting near Auburn, WA.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Washington or willingness to obtain one prior to start.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Eligibility for, or possession of, a Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate.
  • OSPI fingerprint clearance, or readiness to undergo fingerprinting as required by Washington state law.
  • Prior school-based SLP experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students across grade levels K-12.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with student IEPs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal student support.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to IEP meetings, progress reports, and goal-setting sessions.
  • Participate in professional development and stay informed on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology.
  • Adhere strictly to district, state, and federal compliance regulations.
