Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students by providing essential speech and language support in a welcoming educational environment. A skilled SLP is needed for an onsite, school-based contract opportunity spanning the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning September 1, 2026, and concluding June 23, 2027. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to work directly with students and collaborate with dedicated educators near Auburn, WA.

What were looking for:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Ability to obtain or hold active Washington State SLP licensure
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential
  • Satisfactory fingerprinting through Washington OSPI, or willingness to complete this requirement
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings is valued (all grade levels, details to come)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and passion for student success
  • Commitment to onsite responsibilityremote work is not available

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct therapy services for students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings
  • Supporting a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
