This travel position will support K-12 students with a range of communication challenges, from mild to severe, including autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbance, and Down Syndrome. Qualifications:

  • Valid NY SLP License required
  • Active TSSLD Certification required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience with school-aged populations (K-12)
  • Comfort working with mild to severe disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities
  • Previous teletherapy or on-site school experience a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Participate in meetings and provide progress feedback
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
