Job Description

Help provide meaningful support to preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current ME SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions specific to the preschool age group
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, diagnose communication disorders, and create individualized treatment plans for preschool-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster the best outcomes for each child
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports
  • Contribute expertise to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in planning appropriate educational modifications
