Help provide meaningful support to preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting. This full-time contract opportunity is designed for professionals passionate about guiding young learners toward improved communication skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ME SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions specific to the preschool age group
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, diagnose communication disorders, and create individualized treatment plans for preschool-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster the best outcomes for each child
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports
- Contribute expertise to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in planning appropriate educational modifications
