Desired Expertise and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Georgia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience working with school-aged children, with a strong grasp of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions (both individual and group) supporting articulation, fluency, voice, and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding students progress and strategies for classroom success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district and state regulations
- Provide training and resources to school staff and families as needed
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth
