Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP license in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly valued
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to perform speech, language, and communication assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Document and maintain detailed session notes and progress reports in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
